Module 3: Cultivating a Positive Attitude

In this module, we’ll explore how although your brain is wired for negativity, you can model a high-performing positive attitude to help you encourage yourself and others. We’ll dig into the neuroscience behind positive thinking to take away strategies for self-reflection and interacting with negative people to create a healthier workplace culture. We’ll touch again on the all-important skill of listening.

  • The 8 Ways to Model High-Performing Positive Attitude Playbook, so that you can explore ideas for personally showcasing positivity so you won’t let the team down
  • ​The How to Have an Encouraging Conversation with a Negative Person Tip Sheet, so that you can proactively choose constructive and encouraging dialogue and have a positive influence on someone who may be mired in negativity
  • The Active Listening Guidelines and Facilitator Guide, so that you can gain tips and tricks while gaining a deeper understanding of what is happening in your brain during active listening. We’ll also show you how to share active listening information and exercises with your team.
