Module 2: Mindset of Continual Improvement

In this module, we’ll explore how lifelong learning helps you adapt, grow, and improve your approach and your performance. We’ll dig into the neuroscience of deliberate practice and the concept of kata— a method of learning from martial arts that involves attention, rehearsal, and repetition— to help you develop a new level of thinking that will help you break through your plateaus. You’ll recognize what you need to do and who you need to help to improve the team’s performance and ultimately, move forward in your career.

  • ​The Career Aspiration Model Exercise, so that you can set a vision for your next steps by studying the profile of someone you admire to see the steps they’ve taken
  • The Finding Common Grounds Facilitator Activity, so that you can demonstrate the principles of deliberate practice to your team
